and i'm not relly sure what's the prob. i think it can't detect my modem, but how would i know? but my sister told me the modem is working just fine.

can anyone help me or can anyone tell me where i would probably find answers?

Well to use createblog you have to be connected the Internet.. are you using another computer ?

I don't really know what you are trying to describe. What kind of Internet connection do you have DSL/CABLE/DIAL-UP ?

Look around this: SITE

Maybe there is something there that can help you mellow.gif

go to your "start menu"..
go to "run"
a black screen should pop up
do ipconfig -all (this reviews by suming up the information)
if you see a ip address
you should go ipconfig -refresh
this updates anything in the operating system.
(IF it still doesn't work after that)
if not then go to internet explorer
"tools"
"internet options" and it gives you a
the tab that states "connections"
you can either add your modem if you have 56k
or go to lan "settings" and have it automatically obtain a random ip address.
Or if your on a network....to input a dynamic Ip address giving to you by the router.
for futher information.....just contact me on aim.

Aren't you using the internet now? Well if it's another computer or something, I don't know. I have Windows 98.
