Do you have some kind of pop-up blocker?

do you mean that whenever you try to make a new window on the internet it freezes? if so, that happened to me. i'm not sure of the reasons, but after a MAJOR spyware cleanup (i had spyware and stuff like that literally EVERYWHERE on my comp) everything seemed to be in working order. try using a virus scan or download ad-aware to clean the junk off, if you have any

yeah, that's what my point is, my internet freezes and crashes/closes, not only that I only get this everytime I open up a program...which sucks. btw, I do have an antivirus I'm scanning right now, I guess, I kinda have a few infected files, and I a spyware, most of the time I scan ( which is like every damn day ) , and nothing happens, the problem is still not solved....I'm getting to the point of getting fed up with windows now...I'm starting to hate the computer company and Bill Gates...they really need a lot to improved regarding their softwares, tech...oh well, thanks anyway!

Firefox! This will only help your internet windows, though... if you don't already have it.

Oh yeah.... open up My Documents or something... and in the address bar type C:\Program Files. Look through those folders... (You may have to click view folders.) see if there are any obvious spyware application folders... ones you never authorized on your computer. Delete them!!! But, be careful, your computer could have come with a lot of things you don't know of.

Also, clear your cookies. Right click Internet Explorer > Internet Options/Properties > Delete Cookies > Delete Files.

AND one last thing biggrin.gif ... If you have KaZaA... you really want to take that off.

wow, you're computer's my computer's twin! that's exactly what happened to me! get that spyware cleaner, spy-bot. it cleaned my spyware off permanently. next, you should get a pop-up blocker and this program called avast! antivirus i believe it's called, maybe search for it on google? it can get annoying, but it protects your computer so well. when something is trying to access your computer, it lets you know so you can let it access or make it go away

^^ Also, you could use Ad-Aware, I have Ad-Aware Professional. Just get the free one... I seriously notice no difference... luckily I didn't buy it so it wasn't a waste of money.
