Ok, right now it's being a pain in the arse because i'm working on this vector and when i press letters to rename the layers something werid happens. for example when i press the letter "c" the color pallete to the right goes away. Does anyone know a way to fix it? I would greatly thank you.

Maybe you could do a virus/spyware scan?? And then try again and see if the problem is still the same...
