I didnt mind him until he lost his mind. He actually said that Beyonce was not sexy, did not have a great body, and was not a good singer. He basically said that everything I beleive in (bootylicious baby) and one of the superstars I admire most was..well a load of crap. I think hes a load of crap. :(

I think Simon is very honest. And i like that. He says the thing that most people would be too scared to say. Sometimes i think he judges too harshly, but most of the time i agree with him. LL Cool J guest starred tonight. and like he gave this one girl a hug when she didn't make it, i thought that was nice. lol but yah... happy.gif

hah! I totally luv this guy..first I didn't like him because I thought he was too harsh, but after hearing all these awful singers that THINK they can sing, it's like get off the stage plz! Don't waste my time..I think he tells them exactly what they need to hear..even if it's a little harsh

i think that the whole british simon disses are old and not funny. american idol was funny the 1st season, and after that, it was stupid and pathetic. ok...he uses the SAME disses every single year.


oo and plus...hes a complete a-hole. he makes comments to people that are completely irrelevent and cruel.


for one girl --> he called her fat and said that she needed to lose weight. uh, this isnt a f**kin jenny craig session here...she wants to SING! go overdose or something and die simon cowell.

I like American Idol. But that could just be because I'm in chorus. Anyways..I usually agree with Simon. He's just honest. If I were there, I'd probably be afraid to tell the people that they were bad. He's my favorite judge on that show!

I totally agree with you. But for some reason I tend to keep on watching it. He amuses me with his assholeness. I myself will continue to watch American Idol. I however only watch the auditions

and if someone were bad like that like embarrassing themselves in their live audience..they prolly wouldnt have been there since they have other judges who think they good enough..i mean the ppl that paula,randi(sp?) and the guest stars are good at picking too..so i do like simons honesty but hten at times i dont..omg i LOVE their expressions when ppl are horrible singers..its the best.. =)

yes i love him. sure he is bluntly honest, but we need people like him. he's a good guy in real life. and that's just his tv character, if people can't take his honest insults then obviously they are not ready to even be thrown into the entertainment industry. he's just a small taste of what the real industry is like.

He speaks the truth for the bad singers. Although I dislike it when he turns people down because their fat and because their young? There was this girl who is 17. Really good voice. I wanted her to get in it, but nope. Simon said no. -.-

i like him. i have my reasons.

1. he's original. since when do you see some man on tv who insults people harshly without caring on reality tv?

2. he gets the job done. he isn't really emotional or sorry if he made the wrong choice. he gets to his opinion and sticks with it.

3.doesn't care what other people say. self explanatory :)

I dont really watch American Idol anymore....now its just overrated!! But I love Simons honesty...people need to hear the truth otherwise if they tell them that they are good, then they are not helping them out at all...maybe they are hurting their egos and all that but those people who cannot sing need to realize that they are wasting their time and just embarassing themselves on national TV!!

I think Simon is awesome for the most part, but when Paula freaks out at moments im 90% doing the same thing on my sofa at home...

But you must realize this, without simon, American Idol wouldnt be how it is... and hes one of the reasons why it is so entertaining. Hes a real honest guy, and for those people who hate him, hes that kind of person they love to hate. I like him and he can be a bit rude but i respect that.
