My friend is 13, and is worried that she might be pregnant. He stomach has been hurting in the morning, and she threw up yesterday. I'm really worried about her...and she cant buy a pregnancy test because she's too young, and she doesnt want to say anything to her parents until she's completely sure if she's pregnant or not. Have any suggestions on what she can do?

i guess just wait. ask her if there is any other reason why she would be pregnant. i mean, did the condom break, did she not use a condom, or what. it just might be a coincidence.

is there really an age you have to be for a pregnancy test?
also, i heard if you convince yourself your pregnant..and you think you are, your body will act as if it were pregnant (as in barfing and everything) happened to my friend, and she wasn't pregnant but had the symtoms of it how long ago was it? and has she gotten her period? |

^Well she told me you had to be 17 or something like that lol. well anyways, I asked her If she has missed her period, and she has irregular periods, where she wont have it for maybe a few months, then she will get it really heavy. So she cant really be sure. I'm not exactly sure how long ago it was though.....i didnt really wanna invade her privacy too much.

..Invading her privacy should not be a concern right now. Her 'privacy' is what brought this upon her. Tell her to go buy some of those things that you stick up your private to find out if she's pregnant or not.

did she have sex? if not then tell her not to stress. if she did then go get her a test for her. if she is pregnant, then laugh at her for having sex at such a early age and tell her that she deserves the consequences of sex.

I dunno, she could just be a drama queen. I know that sounds harsh, but I had a friend who "thought" she was pregnant on and off for like..3 years. its was sooo rediculous...we found out she never even had sex before, she just wanted attention. She kept claiming to have miscarriages and all that booboo. But I mean, u can go buy a pregnancy test any age, cuz any age person can get preggo. well...kinda. u know... but if worse come to worse, go to plannedparenthood.com and find one near her. She can get a free exam, she'll just need a way to get there. *sigh* young'ns today

I know she's not faking it...she's not that type. her & her b/f have even talked baout it in front of me so, yeah. Well I told her that you dont have to be a certian age to buy a pregnancy test....she was like "omg I'm such a retard" She's really worried...she started crying yesterday. how long does it take to get pregnant?? like about how many days to find out witha pregnancy test?

Find someone who's at least 18 and go get a pregnanty test thing. And...wait for a month or so...and see if she gets her period...Although some people still get pregnant with their periods...*shrugs*
The only advice I do have for her if she is pregnant is keep some bread by her bedside. It kinda helps you from throwing up. |

first of all, don't worry so early and neither should your friend. She might have symptons of being pregnant but it doesn't mean she actually is. At her age, having irregular period is NORMAL! If she continues to throw up or lose her appetite then get someone older you know to get a test for her. Good luck to you and your friend!

She said that she had a daughter and she was pregnant with twins and they were born premature and one of them died... She showed us pictures and really had us going.
