I'm honestly not sure why everyone thought it was funny. I usually like stupid humor, but this one just wasn't funny to me. The only time I laughed out loud was when Napolean began that little dance for Pedro's skit. But even that scene was extended so long that it lost its humor. I dunno I heard it was a movie that you couldn't see alone, but you needed to see it with friends

Not that funny. Just little bit. I don't really laugh on dry jokes. But my sister does. My sister bought the dvd.
 and I think that's a waste of money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cause it's not even funny to me and my mom at all. She should've bought it with her own money, not our costco $100 gift card...psh that DORK!

i saw this movie tonight because everyoen in my school has been quoting from it. i wanted to actualyl see how good it really was.
what a waste of time. the movie was an hour and a half long...when it really felt lyk 3 hours. there are a few funny lines. but other then that, i dont find it at all humorous. |

It was plain stupid. Sure there were funny parts but there was no plot or anything. No real substance. Plus there were more blank stares/not funny parts than there were laugh out loud funny parts. and what is so funny about "gosh, freaking idiot"? i say that all the time, even BEFORE the movie came out. haha. and i would say it all weird like he says it too.

i remember seeing the commercial and no one else knew about it. ever since that one commercial.. i wanted to see it.
so i did see it.. on DVD. i thought it was so hilarious! i started laughing even before the movie played! the first time you watch it you won`t get everything straight but then you`ll catch on at the 2nd watch. some people don`t like it cause they don`t have that humor and they`re used to the everyday//modern movies we have now. movies that have nudity, violence, and profanity. i think Napolean Dynamite is a great movie cause it doesn`t have those factors.

Personally, I loved it.
Great movie. No exact plot, but funny. I agree with whats above, that everyone knows someone like that, I do, there's a kid in my lunch group that looks just like him, all he needs is moon boots, and glasses, but he cut off all his curls. SO SAD! |
