add a border=# bordercolor=COLOR and bgcolor=COLOR into the marquee tag
and a <font color=COLOR></font> Around your marquee tags, not inside the marquee |

It doesn't matter if the font color code is inside the marquee. As long as you close it, it doesn't matter. It still works fine.
