The big question! You don't even have to see the movie to answer this, just know this Phantom killed for Christine all Raoul did was beat the shit out of people to get 411 on the Phantom!

I still think i would of choose Raoul. The phantom loved her and all, but he was a murderer. But i dunno, lol i find the phantom very sexy and mysterious...so i dunno who i would of choosen. I think that they both loved her...ah, i dunno lol. that's a very hard question. When i read the book, i wanted her to choose Raoul. but in the movie i was kinda back and forth, lol so i'm glad i wasn't the one who had to make that choice, but probably in the end i would pick Raoul.

the phantom is so freaking awesome....but Raoul is hot. man it would suck to be christine then again not. I dunno, probably the phantom hes a genius

Phantom all the way! He killed for love, "The greatest thing you'll ever learn is to love and be loved in return." POTO is the ultimate romanticism book! It should be a mandatory read in school!

... dude, I hate how everyone knows POTO because of the movie now.
 The movie sucked. And it's not so much about how hot some guy was. It's about character.In Christine's place, I would've pitied the Phantom to some degree and probably gone with Raoul. But as a spectator, I adore the Phantom. Mrawr. |

I thought the Phantom was hotter. I thought he was supposed to be UGLY, but he's HOT
 mmmm yeah. Besides he has shorter hair than the innocent guy. When I watched the black and white. I always said like I hope the innocent guy save the girl. But from looking at the preview and my friends talking about it. I wish the Phantom guy takes her away from a far land lol.

I don't think the movie sucked, I don't think you can compare a stage version of POTO to a movie version of POTO. Of course they are going to be different, you simply can't capture the same essence on a screen as you can on stage. When you see it on stage Phantom actually holds out all of the note in Music of the Night... and no electrical guitars interrupt the music during Phantom of the Opera. But, it gives you someone elses view of it. Besides, I don't think the movie was butchered, Andrew Lloyd Webber produced it, he had a whole bunch of say in it. Do you honestly think Mr. Webber would have let Phantom of the Opera the movie come out if he thought it sucked? To end this, you simply can't compare stage and screen, even though they both involve acting the two are extremely different medias. I've done acting on stage for over half my life and I have been an extra on film. The two are don extremely differently. |
