Well...I am trying to buy this drumset, and I have to raise my own money. I just can't think of a way to raise any money. Could anyone help me think of an idea (besides bake sale, care wash, ect) to make my money?

Get a job like the rest of us hardworking people. Well, unless you're under 16... then be a dog sitter... or teach senior citizens in your neighborhood to use the computer. I volunteered for that but they paid me anyways.

I'm only 13..but as soon as I'm 15 I'm getting a work permit.

That's a good idea about the old people thing. It's hard to find any jobs around here because our town is super duper small. We don't even have a McDonalds... mad.gif

maybe a bake sale or a car wash? jk
umm...
1.mow peoples lawns
2. ask for money, then 50 percent tip
3. profit
4. repeat

or you could wait two years and get a real job..

Hardwork is totally overrated. rolleyes.gif

Do either of the following:

Go outside and hold up a sign that says "Fundraising for (insert something here that technically isn't lying)" Ex/ "fundraising for Band (then write the initials of your school somewhere on the sign)" Some people assume school band. If anyone says your lying about the initials of your school, just say that it's the initials of your band.

Or

Go outside with really really disgusting clothes and hold out a cup with change and start shaking it. Add shopping carts full of cans, cardboard boxes, and smell really bad for a more realistic approach. laugh.gif

Or

Just go out with a couple of friends and con people. (It always works... and it's soo fun too.) shifty.gif

list of getting moneys... (What worked for me)

1 -- Do a car wash and do $5 for each car.
2 -- Garage/Yard Sale
3 -- Baby Sit people's children (advertise yourself and that the cost is $10 an hour)
4 -- Work as a waitress (Be a part-time employeer)
5 -- Shovel people's sidewalk (when it snows)
6 -- Rake their leaves (when it's fall)
7 -- Mow their lawn (when it's spring/summer)
8 -- Do chores around people's place (advertise yourself and that the cost is $50-$100 a day)
9 -- Baby Sit people's pet (advertise yourself and that the cost is $10 an hour)
10 -- Make reservations for people (advertise yourself and that the cost will be only $5)

Heh................................. it was okay, not that hard. It was really fun!! I don't do this stuff these days, because I'm designing layouts these days and heh..... something like that ^___^

Hmmm, some ways. Babysit, walk dogs, pet sit, housekeep, if you ahve a musical talent play on the street or in a transit system (depending on where you live, that made me lots of money happy.gif ), get a job at a chain place like starbucks (7.15 an hour i think), McDonalds and stuff like that. Ok find a job thru a friend or family member. Goodluck!

Well..I like the pawn shop idea, and the raking leaves I have already done. I have to raise 800 dollars. And like I said, my town is extremely small..we don't even have a Mcdonalds or anything. And all I play is the drums and I don't think the police would like it if I played a drumset on the side of the street. ):

I'm writing all of these things down..I will do ANYTHING to get this drumset..besides selling myself for money like some of you other who....*cough*people stated before. ^^
