Alright, so I have had my new cell phone number for almost a year now... and at least 4 times a week I get wrong numbers.... i never had this problem with any of my other cell phones...
Anyone else have to go through this? I had one guy call the my phone like 5 times today, and every time i had to tell him he is dialing the wrong number |

hah, that happens to me a lot too. bleh- and i hate it when they keep calling back even after you tell them they have the wrong number.

I just hang up when they ask for that person now...
One time someone called asking for a wood shop, so i pretended to be that shop and told them we didnt have any of the items they were looking for |

Lots of ppl call my cell lately too. Also been getting a lot of bogus txt messages. Txt with advertising like "make money now" or some garbage. People need a life.

that happens alot with my home phone, they usually can't speak good english so its hard to try to explain that they have the wrong number and they keep calling back
 and on my cell i always get text messages and voicemail from someone asking for alex... they just don't get it

Haha, that reminds me of when Nick&Eve&I called a wrong number when we were trying to reach Joe (DrNick311) back in summer. It was amusing.

lol yah that happens to me alot too. But it was weird because this guy kept calling day after day, and he insisted that he KNEW my name was charlene, and that i better tell him whether i got the child support.
 lol and i'm like, sorry dude you've seriously got the wrong number. haha

People call me by accident all the time. I usually say hello then just breath heavily into the phone. It's quite amusing, it freaks people out

This one day, I had this lady leave me a voicemail saying something like "PLEASE PLEASE come! I don't know how's he's doing right now, but there's an ambulance comingg.. Please come he needs your help, he's on the floor..!"
And then she called again and asked for Kiki. I was like "uhhh......... "

Yeah.. When I first got my new home phone number, people kept calling for Chen. One day my dad replied the call with "He died."
I don't get calls anymore. So I guess you can also say that the person died. News will spread around... and no one will bother anymore. |

Oh god that happens to me a lot of times one time some guy called at 3 in the fn morning he was like hey jack! and im like hey no this isn't jack and his like oh sorry... god that was anoying then this other time this old lady called my cell and was saying something about her being scared she called like 4 times until i gave my dad the phone and he told her something and she never called back

u know u can go and sign u for the "do not call list" online... but thats only if telemarketers are calling you... and yea i have the same problem too....

for cell phones i think it's cause maybe someone else has had that phone number before you but then they switch cell phones and numbers.

LOL that's sad... I remember when we got ourself a new house number cause we moved to a new apartment and this guy who worked for the goverment kept calling us that we own them $15,000 dollars... we were like wtf?!!?! i told them that they got a wrong number. but i guess they didnt believe me, so they called again... they call us 5 times a month. It's annoying...since it made my sister very annoying cause of it. she cuss at them and hung up the phone...
ehh i don't know when they will stop. it used to be a guy's voice, now it's changed to a girl's voice psh. if this was a prank when it doesn't even sound like one, but if it was.. im gona call 911 whoever did that to us. cause it was FREAKING ANNOYING! i was even sleeping too and they call us... it's freaking annoying. |

A bunch of people used to call and ask me to help them with Geometry, but that stopped, suddenly. Now, people just call me asking for "Trish"...*shrug*
