so i was reading on another board and some of the people mentioned how american eagle's cotton "expands", like leavign excess fabric on the back so it looks unfitting (wth, is that a word?) and messy. so has that ever happened to you?
because i wanted to by this

I love AE, but I'm sorry to say that their fabric sucks and it's not durable at all. It's true that the sheer graphic tees will stretch and create excess fabric. As for the blouse you posted, I don't think that would stretch. Does it feel like the same fabric they use for graphic tees? Or does it feel like a dress shirt type of fabric?

As for the halter, I do think that will stretch. Good luck with that.

American Eagle shirts aren't fitting for me at all. They're extra small looks like a medium! I just buy their hoodies and pants. It's the same thing with Old Navy tshirts also.

I'll just stick with Hollister Co. cool.gif

i've only bought a few stuff from there, but i still love em! happy.gif this sweater i bought expanded after i wore it... but that's normal for most clothes. i've never bought a graphic tee or anything because for some reason they never fit... (too big) so i dont know... but i dont think that first shirt would stretch because it's like a button up one, so the cloth's probably not stretchy

i havn't experienced that, but i can tell you one thing...

their fabric for their hoodie's (not all) really sucks, the fabric feels so baggy on me. even though it looks good on the computer, when i saw the blue one in real life, the color seemed washed out. well.. that's from my experience..

but don't get me wrong, i love ae, it's one of my favorite shops. ;P
