ok when your making like a really long div layout type . like the ones most people have like on this site (thats just an example of the font ) . say i was making it on photoshop what would the heigh be? because i kinda need mine long but iono when i do the height long the width gets a little to big.
soo what height do you guys usually use |

there's no set height. what you do is make the main image and the long part is just a repeating vertical image. on your div layer, you would set the height to 100%px instead of a number.

ooh soo like you mean i make it all one image & have it repeat vertically i get that part but like will only the bottom repeat when i put my div on 100%px?

if you put your div on 100%px that means it can go as far down as it needs to, and then the image will automatically repeat to fit the div.
