i wanna make better skins then the first one i made which i got from a wallpaper online. i noticed that most of the ones that i enjoy have a blending affect of different images. i have adobe photoshop 6.0 and adobe imageready 3.0 if that helps. and also does neone know how to do feathering on the programs?? which brings me to another quesiton. i know how to crop but is there a way to cut around the image instead of a rectangle? i know, i know. so many quesitons wacko.gif

To feather you should be able to go to Select>Feather. If you use the lasso tool, you can crop around the image and it's not a rectangle.

Yeah, you use the lasso tool, if you use the rectangle tool, it'll come out..weird and straight like you used the eraser tool.

Umm if you're confused, a good way to do it would be to click on the lasso tool, set the feather to 20 or 15 px, outline the bits of a picture you don't want, and click delete. For very small areas you can use the eraser tool. Hope that helps. biggrin.gif
