my friend wants to learn how to do good animation on banners and such and i was kinda worrying what program would be best to do this with.. and if they're are any good tutorials out there to help him?

you can animate with adobe imageready, or jasc animation shop, and i'm sure there are a few others. there's a blinkie tutorial in the tutorials section to start you off..hold on, i'll go look for it.
