Has anyone heard about this stop-animation film from Tim Burton? Stop-animation is like the kind of film that Nightmare Before Christmas is, those stickly figures. Johnny Depp is the voice of the main character Victor, and it sounds very very good biggrin.gif Here's the trailer that just recently came online:

http://www.apple.com/trailers/wb/corpse_bride/

The plot of the story is that Victor (Johnny Depp) a scrawny looking guy is to be married to his fiancee Victoria (Emily Watson). When he was riding through a forest to get to the wedding, as a joke, he sticks the ring onto a stick in the ground that is shaped like a finger and says his vows for practice. Then rises up from the ground the corpse of a murdered girl (Helena Bonham Carter) who insists she is now married to Victor.

that's a pretty much vague summary I've gotten from all the things I've read about it. It sounds interesting to me! happy.gif

Oh wow!!! That sounds cool! But I need to watch Night before Christmas again since I forgot the whole summary of it. I actually was afraid of watching it when I was little, so I skipped some haha. I never heard of this, but will it come out in the movie theaters?

It's scheduled release date was September 23, but by the looks of things, it may be pushed back to sometime near Halloween

Yep, you heard right. Victor kinda reminds me of Ichabod, Johnny's character in "Sleepy Hollow", hehe.

well, i think the remake is butchering the original and looks really dumb so, almost anything is more appealing. but yeah, just my opinion.
