Does anyone else watch this show? I know it being on UPN is a turn off... but it's really a great show... pretty much the breakout of this season.




ABOUT THE SHOW

In the wealthy, seaside community of Neptune, the rich and powerful make the rules, they own the town and the high school, and desperately try to keep their dirty little secrets just that…secret. Unfortunately for them, there's Veronica Mars, a smart, fearless 17-year-old apprentice private investigator dedicated to solving the town's toughest mysteries.

Veronica (Kristen Bell) actually used to be one of the popular girls, walking the halls of Neptune High with the rest of the "beautiful people." But it all came crumbling down around her after her best friend Lilly was murdered and her then-Sheriff father Keith Mars (Enrico Colantoni) was removed from office for naming Lilly's billionaire father, Jake Kane, as the lead suspect. After Jake was exonerated, the scandal cost Keith his job, his home and wife, and Veronica was ostracized by her popular friends, including her boyfriend Duncan Kane (Teddy Dunn), Lilly's brother.

During the day, Veronica must negotiate high school like any average teenage girl. Along with fellow outcast, sophomore Wallace Fennel (Percy Daggs III), she bravely maneuvers her classes, wary of former in-crowd friends, like Duncan and his best friend Logan Echolls (Jason Dohring), and edgy outsiders, like Weevil (Francis Capra) and his P.C.H. Bike Club boys.

At night, Veronica helps with her father's struggling, new private investigator business, sneaking through back alleys and scoping out no-tell motels with a telescopic-lens camera and her math book in an attempt to uncover the California beach town's darkest secrets.

Pushed to the edge of this multicultural, venomous little Peyton Place, Veronica Mars relentlessly continues to search for evidence that will clear her father's name and get her back into the "in-crowd," but what she finds may tear the town of Neptune apart at the seams.




It's a smart, witty show and y'all should tune it. NOW is a great time, because they're re-airing the first episode tonight... the second next week, and the third the week after... and then the new episode on February 8th.

It's on UPN on Wednesdays at 9pm. WATCH IT.

Yeah. Being on UPN... just REALLY sucks for the show. It was so surprising to find that a show on this network could be this awesome.

Hopefully they don't cancel it after just one season.

Yep, it's only the first season. The last new episode was episode 12... the new one won't be on until Feb... 8th, I think. Bleh. I hate breaks.


But for February sweeps, they've got a BtVS guest starring as Logan's sister.

This is a really great show, i'm just pissed that it's on UPN, so its ratings are horrible, i just hope that the show stays on. It also sucks that this show is on at the same time as "the amazing race" AND "house md."

I think the story has been incredible lately. I'm depressed about Veronica and Logan though. I'm thinking that Logan might not have planted the cameras. I KNOW! I knew riite away that she would use the hair from the shower for framing duncan. while duncan sometimes was a little dull/shallow, i loved him. he was cute and such a sweetheart. he's like the quietly, passive, brooding type that sometimes surprises you how emotional he can be. kendall, you fake, plastic, whore! stay away from him!

btw, did anybody find it ironic or funny that in one of the episodes, veronica is at the hut and talking about how true love would find her someday? and then she turns around and LOGAN is riite there? it's a sign i tell you.

they should change it back to wednesdays i think. the tuesday airing is hurting the ratings. we're in direct competition with House (which is an AWESOME show) and Scrubs (eh...) We're even behind Pepper Dennis!

Well, supposedly Michael and Alia (the tour guide and rape girl from the Rapes of Graff episode) are going to be in some episodes next season since there's no more AD. I guess the big storyline might be who the raper is? Because we never figured out, right? And wouldn't they want to find out who killed Aaron? Even if he is a creep.

And yeah, he didn't show up... :( Whatever Kendall had in that suitcase must have been REALLY important. I don't think he would have stayed if it was the 8 billion dollars?
