make-up, can some one explain it to me? Options

ok now this might sound liek a stupid question but could someone like explain to me the different types of make-up? lol yea it sounds weird but since like my mom doesnt want me to wear it until im like 16 i gotta do it on my own but the thing is no one ever really told me what concealer and all that jazz was so i guess you could say im like make-up retarded.. so could someone like help me to tell me like how you put it on or what the heck it is.. i mean jsut the other day i tried putting on blush and it toally didnt work.. please help!

Conceler is to make your imperfections on ur face go away! Acne, blemishes, dark undereye, ect.

Mascara makes ur eye lashes darker and flips ur eye lashes out. An easy way to put it on is to put the brush up to your eye lashes just enough so when you blink the mascara flips ur eye lashes out.

Eye liner is basically to outline ur eyes. WHEN USING EYE LINER U FIRST NEED TO MAKE SURE IT IS NICE AND SHARPENED, if not its a painful situation! How you put it on varies from girl to girl, girls have different tecniques. How I do it is close my eyes on the eye liner, and out line my eyes by moving it back and forth through the perimeter the eye lid. Hurts the first few times, but you get used to it. A way to make eye liner show up well- if its dull- is by burning the tip with a lighter, matches, ect.

Eye Shadow is shades and colors put on eyes. Just be sure not to use too much of this! You basically do it anyway u want..idk how to explain it

Lip Liner is what u use to outline ur lips and use it just like that, usually with lip gloss or lip stick over it

Lip stick/lip gloss is just to color ur lips, make them glossy, enhanse ur lips, ect.

Blush can be a little tricky. You only take a little with a blush brush and put it on ur cheek bones. Whatever ur tone of skin is, do a little pinker or a little redder, watch those colors tho!

Foundation- It's a liquid make-up that can cover up blemishes, freckles, basically anything you have on your face. You usually blend it in with your finger or get a spongey thingy and pat it on.

Concelear- It's a stick thing that covers up blemshes as well. You usually blend it in with your pinky finger or that other spongey thingy.

Eyeliner- Eyeliner is something to make your eyes stand out more. It usually is in a stick, yet there is a liquid one as well. I can't really explain how you put it on..Eh..It's hard to explain.

Mascara- Mascara is something you use on your eyelashes. It can make your lashes longer, curlier, and others. You dip the mascara wand into the masraca liquid holder and brush it on your eyelashes. Uhmm..yeah. Hope that made sense.

Eyeshadow- It's a powder ( but I hear it's now liquid) that covers the lid of your eye. How to put it on Depends on which one you buy. But for powder, you gently run the thingy to put it on over the color and you glide it across your upper lid.

Lipstick- I think you know what that is. Hehe. You apply it on your lips evenly. Don't use too much!

I dunno how to put on blush.

Foundation- Usually used over your whole face, more for an even tone. Use a spongy thing and rub it in all over your face.

Concealer- Used to conver certain spots, like pimples. Just apply a dot, rub it in and your pimples concealed =]

Eyeliner- Its hard to apply it when you first start...but use it like a pencil, and out line your eye with it. The purpose is to make your eyes stick out more.

Mascara- Makes your eyelashes longer. Just whipe it over your lashes.

Blush- Smile and put it on your cheeks and the purpose is to make you look...more blushy =]

Powder- Sort of like foundation, used all over your face typically. I like it better I think it looks more natural.

Eyeshadow- Goes on your lids. Personally I don't use it...to dramatic.

Lip Stick- Make your lips more distinct. When your young stick with lipgloss.

Lipliner- Lines your lips. Typically for older people.


ALso, being new to it and everything...dont throw on all that and have like super pink cheeks and foundation to dark for your skin, and purple lipliner and blue eyeshadow lol. Natural is better. Keep that in mind, look at natual as possible. Actually, the less make up the better. Only use whats nessicary.

power: u can use some of that to make ur face not oily looking...
blush: when ur young u dont really need to use it. its for old people that dont have ne blood in their face or something lol.
foundation: rub it all over ur face evenly. make sure u RUB IT ALL OVER. cause then there'd be spots n stuff lol.
lipliner: i dont really know any young people that use that stuff...
mascara: i love it! (im asian...i have short lashes)...it makes ur lashes black or brown if u have blonde lashes (ew). and it makes it longer and thicker.
eyeliner: makes ur eyes more dramatic...stands out more..guys think its hott. u have to KNOW how to put it on. cause if u didn't, u'd end up looking like a loser. or lets say racoon.
lip gloss: makes ur lips lucious.
