Anyone else supporting aids by buying the braclets on www.until.org? I absolutly love the braclts and am so happy they made them for AIDs. They are a lot better than then LIVESTRONG and Breat Cancer Braclets, in my opinion.

The jelly braclets come in assorted colors and are $10 each. A little pricey, but hey, it's for a good cause. They look really cute too. I loved them so much I got 3. Pink, clear, and charcoal.

In the magazine I found out about the braclets in, Hilary Duff, along with her sister, were advertising them. All my friends were like ewww Hilary Duff! Whya re you wearing them? And I was like, "Hey! I like the braclets for the cause, not whose advertising them!" What they didn't know what Hilary Duff isn't the only one advertising, so is Mandy Moore, Alan Cummin, Tiffani Thiessen, Barry Bonds, Rosie Perez, Chris Beckman, Anastacia, Kevin Bacon, Evelyn Cisneros, Giants, The Rock, Amerie, Barbara Boxer, Tony Hawk, Destiny's Child, and Emme.

Just thought I would share with everyone happy.gif

Will AIDs Braclets be the new trend?

They are way too much, I think thats why they aren't as popular, they should drop the price to 5 dollars or something, and just make them multi-colored w/o the clasp

Where do you get the tsunami ones? We were in English today and my teacher gave us a sonnet that they thought heavily related to it. She said it was written 100 years ago.

If anyones interested in reading it:

Once by the Pacific

The shattered water made a misty din.
Great waves looked over others coming in,
And thought of doing something to the shore
That water never did to land before.
The clouds were low and hairy in the skies,
Like locks blown foward in the gleam of eyes.
You could not tell, and yet it looked as if
The shore was lucky in being backed by cliff,
The cliff in being back by continent;
It looked as if a night of dark intent
Was coming, and not only a night, an age.
Somone had better be prepared for rage.
There wuold be more than ocean-water broken
Before God's last Put out the Light was spoken.

blah...i hate it when they make these overpriced things because it's supposed to help them raise money for cancer research and whatnot, there are plenty of other ways to help instead of buying an ugly rubber bracelet for 10 bucks _dry.gif

you can just donate money directly to an organization

Well, it's just a personal opinion. They are, for one, ajustable. There is a clasp on it where you can ajust the size. They are a little bit thicker aswell, so, just in my own personal opinion, I think they are made better. I'm nto dissing the LIVESTRONG or anything. Totally wasn't my intention. I was just saying that they aren't exactly like them and that they are a bit more enhanced. That was my fault for poor wording.

Oh, my bad. Didn't know you were talking about the bracelet itself. Thought you were saying how helping AIDS is better than the intentions of the livestrong bracelets. But I get what you're saying now.

I'm thinking about buying the orange, ice, and green one but just haven't made up my mind....they are a bit expensive though but, i really don't think they'll be the new trend because everyone has the livestrong bracelets and at my school they're starting to phase out anyway...now everyone is going to Foot Locker and buying the adidas bracelets. Who knows...

all those braclets are for a good cause.
but some people just get the wrong idea.
like the livestrong ones. like 3 people wore it.. then all of a sudden it became more of a TREND then EMPATHY. Gosh. That just makes me mad to see people just dive into trends instead of the good cause.

yea i agree w/ what ur saying. i got those livestrong bracelets before it became a fashion trend. and yea its sad that people forget what the bracelets really stand for. but think of it this way, people are buying the bracelets and all that money is still going to cancer research. its a win win situation.

anyways, these bracelets are awesome.

Yeah they bring the trends. Mostly a lot of people I know has it. But not my Korean friends lol... Well I know few of my Korean friends have them, but not all of them. I hope not!!! Cause I don't want to see those colorful bracelets. I rather see a picture on their car... not their wrist!!!!!! it's annoying --- sorry.
