I'm just wondering if it's a North Dakota thing. laugh.gif
Have any of you ever played a sport called curling? Or watched it, I guess?

We have to play it for gym class every year.. _dry.gif

It's sort of like hockey.
You use brooms and stones and you slide on the ice, and bleh.
It's hard to explain.

curling is like bowling on ice (not ten pin bowling, lawn bowling)

i watched some on TV...

but i don't think it's a sport, it's more of a skill...

It's a sport..

It's kind of big around here.

For the ice, there's a building with ice in it dedicated to just curling.
It IS a sport, though. How can it not be?

I've heard of it, but never played it. If it has to be on ice... I doubt it would be big in southern california mellow.gif

Yeah, it's pretty popular in Canada. I really hate the game though. I get so bored when I watch it on TV. yawn.gif

I have heard of it =D I know what it is and all. I watched it on tv, but it gets borrowing after awhile. Haha. "Sweep!!!! MOREE!! NOOO!! LESS!" Okay, they don't do it like that, but imitating them is fun.

There's a curling team at my school. Never heard about it till it was actually formed though. Not really into school sports. Got other clubs =P Harry Potter club (yes, i'm a freak ><), Prefects and Red Cross (vp). & im not the brightest kid, so yea. I choose those that don't require missing school or getting up early. Lol. I'm so not an early bird because I sleep late =P
