Nahh, just kidding. I live in a small town called Sugar Land (don't laugh) and they've actually taken action after 9/11. I mean, we're a small TX town. Why would a terrorist attack us? I mean, I understand they want to keep the city safe, but honestly... I think everyone's been making waaaay too big of a deal out of this. anyone agree with me?

Yes. i agree with you. I'd think they'd go after larger cities. Like maybe Los Angeles or those cities in the east coast. I've never even heard of Sugar Land. Are you guys near large city?

I agree as well. I live in a small town just 15 mins of the capital. They are not taking any extra precautions with relation to the terrorist attacks, however the city of Lansing Mi is though. Its crazy.

i live in ney york city...and within walking distance of ground zero, there are police booths and whatnot blocking a lot of places, i have to walk an extra 5-10 minutes around everything _dry.gif after 9/11 everyone in my building got these air purifier things and these annoying people come and take surveys to see if the smoke damaged us in some way

I wish my city was called Sugar Land. That's awesome, lol.
But yeah you would think that they'd go for bigger cities... I don't get that.

It's been a couple of years since 9/11....and now they're taking action?
I'd expect terrorists to attack bigger cities....like LA, or Atlanta.

Yeah, I think it's just a bit much.. but they're probably just paranoid and want to play it safe.

By the way, I love your town name.

I agree, I think they should get even more security in NYC, during 9/11 it was really a terrible day, the air was thick with smoke, and no one knew what was going to happen one second to the next. Public transportation packed buses to get people home to their families for free, I give mad props to the bus drivers for being so kind, they could have died if there was a second attack and they were near the site that had debris everywhere. I say we need more money! By the way sugarland sounds so cool!!

she wasn't saying the terrorists were going to attack it she was just stating that her small city is going through all these precautions.
anyways, sugar land sounds like such a cool place to live! but yeah my town isn't really doing anything. just the airport is like taking precautions obviously.

omg Sugar Land ^_^ I love driving through there at Christmas. I guess it does sound cutesy to everyone else. I live in Houston (Just a little bit away from Sugar Land) I can't imagine someone targetting it for terrorism. Wouldn't Pasadena be more likely to be targeted?
