Hate the Steelers. And the Eagles. And the Colts.

PATRIOTS all the way!! But I'm a little worried... we might not have Richard Seymoure back in time and Ty Law was put on IR on Friday, and we're facing the Colts next weekend. >.< I mean, Law is the one that keeps picking off Manning... and our secondary is already crappy as it is. Le sigh.

But I have faith. Belichick and Crennel are in Peyton's head... they know how to unravel him. He SUCKS when he plays in Foxboro... I gotta count on that FACT. And the fact that he's 1-6 there. And 1-5 against Belichick.

And I'm hoping the Jets can pull some sort of miracle and beat the Steelers... they were close to doing so in their regular season matchup. I know the Pats can beat the Steelers at Heinz... Belichick never loses to the same team twice in a season. But I'd rather have the Jets eliminate them and save us the trouble.

As for the NFC... the Eagles are without TO and that's really going to hurt them. And they've been resting for the past 3 weeks... which means they're probably off on their game... I think they'll beat the Rams, but I don't think they'll be able to beat the Falcons.

So, I guess I'm going with a Patriots vs Falcons Super Bowl... with the Patriots winning, of course.

I'm guessing it's going to be the Colts vs the Eagles.
Shoot, no one can stop Manning and the Colts offence right now. They can easily score on any defence.

This is the only second time I'm rooting for the Jets. The last time, they failed to win. GRRRRRRR. But they were close. Here's to hoping they can actually pull it off this time. Chad has to be able to win at least ONE big game.

GO PATRIOTS!

I actually want the Falcons to win and go on to beat the Eagles because I really want to see a Pats vs. Eagles SB.

And besides, the Rams totally SUCK.

ETA: The Jets' kicker SUCKS. How can you miss BOTH FGs to win the game? Idiot!

What a day! Both teams I pricted won. First thing first. Jets...may want to consider a new kicker. Performance by Roethlisberger was amazing. Pittsburgh may have what it takes to go on to the SB. Second, FALCONS! Rams SUCK!!! Michael Vick is not over rated, he's God damn GOOD! The bad thing is that if Eagles win tomorrow, Im gonna have a VERY VERY hard time choosing who im going for, since they both kick ass! At least I have a week to think on it.

I'll be back for tomorrow's predictions on tomorrow's games. reporting live from Chicago, IL, Marco. Back to SportsCenter. _smile.gif

PS.....14 - 40.....Man Lol!

I wouldn't say Roethlisberger's perfomance was AMAZING. After all, he did throw what, two interceptions? And one that almost and SHOULD have been game changing one... if the flippin' Jets' kicker was able to actually be a flippin' kicker and kick the flippin' ball through the flippin' posts!

Yes, I'm still angry over that. Brien is an IDIOT. Seriously. I mean, I know they have this statistic where Heinz Field is the hardest to kick a field goal, but C'MON... you actually kicked a good ball the first time 'round, it was just a little short... and you could have won the game. And by some miracle, you're given ANOTHER chance not even a minute after to win the game... and you flippin' blow it and kick the ball wide left. IDIOT. Talk about flippin' choking.

The only kicker you can depend on is Vinateiri.

But yeah, I digressed... I'm just saying Roethlisberger performed pretty good for a rookie in his first playoff game, but he wasn't amazing. He seemed to falter at times, and the pressure did get to him... and if the flippin' Jet's kicker hadn't choked the big one, the Steeler's would have lost and I'm sure Roethlisberger's performance wouldn't be viewed as amazing.

I'm hoping for an upset by the Vikings tomorrow, I hate the Eagles. And I'm counting on the Patriots to win another one... they're facing the Colts led by a QB that's 1-5 under Belichick... so it'll probably be a close game, but in the end, the Patriots will pull through and come out on top.

And besides, the Patriots have to shut up VANDERJERK once and for all... "I think they're not as good as at the beginning of the year, not as good as last year," Vanderjagt told WISH-TV in Indianapolis Sunday night when asked about the Patriots. "And I think they are beatable. We have to play well. There's no question about that. But I think we are going to come back [to Indianapolis] Sunday night, headed to the AFC title game. I think they're ripe for the picking."

Rodney Harrison's response:

"He should focus on making his field goals and not worrying about what we're doing over here," Harrison said. "He has to be a jerk, a Vander-jerk, if he's sitting there and criticizing Peyton Manning and Tony Dungy, one of the best quarterbacks in the game and one of the best coaches in the game. And then for him to put his foot in his mouth again just shows what type of character he has. He has no more time from my mouth, I'm through with him."

Seriously... ugh.

Alright, 2nd day of Divisional championships. Two big games comming up. Eagles VS. Vikings; Patriots VS. Colts.

Can they win with out T.O.? Of corse they can. T.O. isn't what makes the Eagles offense (Only 50% _dry.gif ), We have Donovan McNabb, Brian Westbrook, Todd Pinkston, L.J. Smith and Freddie Mitchell. Ok...Maybe not the "Greatest" line-up the Eagles have had, but it's good enough to come on top over the Vikings.

Patriots VS. Colts, this is a good game. Peyton Manning and the Colts will face, in my opinion, one of the greatest well-balanced team in the league, the Patriots. I really don't have much to say about this game, let the game speak for itself.

As for who will win today, these are my predictions:

Philly Eagles VS. Min. Vikings: PHI 38 MIN 14

New England VS. Indy Colts: NE 17 IND 41

[Edit] Numbers were switched around [/Edit]

First you posted this: How about that performance from Manning yesterday? Outstanding! I had my doubts on he Colts, but they're damn good. Still...the Superbowl matchup stands:
Pats VS. Eagles

Now you post this:
New England VS. Indy Colts: NE 17 IND 41

In order for it to to be Pats vs. Eagles, the Pats have to beat the Colts... but you're predicting the Colts to win... so which is it?

ETA after the Pats vs. Colts game... WOW. What an AWESOME game. Bruschi is seriously the man... the Pats D is flippin' awesome. Where was Mr. Touchdown Record Manning? No TDs for you in Foxboro!!! And dude, the last second interception by Harrison... icing on the cake baby, icing on the cake. I flippin' loved it. And I loved how Manning kept walking off the field with his head lowered and shaking. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Like the Visa commercial says, NOT IN OUR HOUSE!

Bring on Blitzburgh!! REMATCH!! And dude, Belichick has never lost to the same team twice in a year. GO PATRIOTS!!

Correction was made on-top, switch of numbers. So how bout today's games'?

Eagles kick ass baby! worthy.gif They showed & proved that they still got it, even if T.O. is not on the field. McNabb played a great game. Freddie Mitchell shut-uped all the critics. Westbrook is the key man for now. And how 'bout that "lucky" touchdown by Mitchell...he was in the right place at the right time. If Eagles win next week over the Falcons, they just might get lucky enough to have T.O. back for the SB.

What happened to Manning? He got stopped that's what. I wasn't suprised the Pats won. BUT, Im beginning to feel unsure about them, Im not sure why.

As for next week, Pats @ Steelers and Falcons @ Eagles.

Falcons @ Eagles: Good game here. My top 2 fav. teams will face-off in this Conference title match. If Falcons win, I won't be to upset, but I rather the Eagles take this one.

Pats @ Steelers: Will edit this later.

The Falcons/Eagles game is hard... I don't really care who wins. But I would kind of prefer a Patriots/Falcons SB.

The Patriots can stop the Steelers if they play like themselves. Meaning, no costly turnovers, not getting behind early. And having Corey Dillion playing IS going to make a difference. You can already hear/see how confident the other players are with Dillon. I know the Steelers have the #1 rushing defense... but the Colts have the #5 best offense in the history of the NFL and Belichick and the players were able to shut it down. So they CAN overcome the great D of the Steelers.

And I have faith that Belichick has a gameplan that WILL tear Roethlisberger apart. He's had 17 games to see how Roethlisberger plays, and 9 games since the lost to the Steelers... and Belichick is 13-0 when it comes to facing the same QB in a year.

The Patriots have the edge with Brady on their team, he's 7-0 in the playoffs. Roethlisberger IS a rookie. Not to mention Bettis blows all his games against the Patriots when starting.

Whatever happens, it's going to be a tough game and it'll be something to watch.

YEEEESSSSSSSSSS.

It kind of sucks living in my house because my bf pretty much hates the Pats... and my dad and uncle seem to root for whomever has the ball at the moment to get a touchdown... and my friends are either indifferent or hate the Pats.

And I live in Connecticut. mellow.gif

I am an Avid Patriots fan!
Pats vs Eagles

I wouldn't mind if the eagles won this year b/c one of my frinds got diagnosed w/ a brain tumor last spring and has been going through Chemo and has to stay at home by himself b/c if he get's sick i could die b/c of the chemo and he loves the Eagles, so i would be happy either way!

I would like the Patriots to go into this AFC Championship game with the mindset of being underdogs. IMO, they excel when they're underdogs. And it takes some pressure off of them.

They're 3 point favorites though.

It's going to be a close game... whomever controls the ball the most will win the game.

GO PATRIOTS!
