haha, yay!! I had a snowday yesterday. tongue.gif

What I'm basically asking though is, where you live, do you have a lot of snowdays, or perhaps, do you not have any at all, like most of you Californiers. tongue.gif

Never.
We have to get at least 3 feet before they'll even consider it.

I live in New York. The weather has been really odd for the past couple of years. I remember last year it was like 70 degrees in December. We had multiple snowdays in March or April. And it was ridiculously humid during the summers. Not much snow this winter... It was like 52 degrees in Times Square this New Years... o_O

yeah, i live in new york city and the weather is kinda weird. we haven't had a snow day in a while, well the last time that happened was last year but it rarely occurs. hah, i remember last year, we had a snow day because there was supposed to be a huge snow storm the next day, so they cancelled school- but then it never snowed!

^ Yeah, it's been odd over here, too lately. Just this year, though. Oh, I live in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, by the way. We didn't get any snow this Christmas...and not any now...hopefully we don't have snowdays at all because they take them out of our Spring break. sad.gif

We never get a snow day. It has to be like miserable for us to get off. We had 18 inches and we still didn't get off because they didn't want us losing our precious school time.

Prescious... sure

thats so funny.. live in dallas texas (some of the wierdest weather in the country) and the weather people have been issuing a winter weather storm advisory, and they said all day that it was supposed to snow at 1:30 am (30 minutes from now) but its like, 45 degrees outside...cold and wet..but not snow. I told my friend it wasnt happening...it never does...only on weekends where u don't really benefit from staying home.

I'm in Chicago and we get tons of snow but never have a snow day because they are used to it and always prepared. We usually only have off if it's too cold for kids to be standing at the bus stops....but that has happened in 3 years.

We usually get a lot of snow in Wisconsin but in between we have like two weeks of nothing so it all melts... but I've had two 2 hour delays this winter... that's about it _dry.gif
