what are some different ways you can put your hair up? everyone knows of a ponytail... but there's got to be other things. feel free to share your personal techniques!

also... every time i go to put my hair up my hair flies away. does anyone know of any good products that will keep hair down without making it look too greasy or "slicked back"?

I dunno if this would work for you but I have curly hair so i dunno. Instead of brushing my hair I comb it while it's still wet, helps get rid of frizz. Then when I put it up I only use a little mouse (when your hair is dry) and there's no frizz and no greasy, "slicked back" look.

I do the half-up ponytail thing sometimes. Usually I just wear my hair down. You could part it a different way and it looks totally different.

I tie my hair up in a pony tail and scrunch up my ponytail and just do random things to it. I think it's quite fun and it's easy to do.

I don't really do much with my hair. My forehead's too big to tie it up o_O.

I dunno... my hair's weird. I could wash my hair in the morning and not dry or brush it and just walk out the door. It would be completely straight the whole day. Personally, I think it's dull. =\

My hair's naturally straight, but I use Aussie (sp?) and put in a bit too much conditioner. ^^; Maybe that makes it straighter? Oh, and I've also found out that the longer your hair is, the straighter it will be because of the weight. (e.g. my friend used to have hair that went down to her waist, but now it's just below her shoulders and it's wavy)

Hair styles? I like putting mine up in ponytails (my friends tell me I look so cute... ^^;). The position of the ponytail can really make a difference. I look wierd when it's high up. Oh, and parting your hair on the side is good, too. ^^

My hair's straight, with semi-curls at the edge, but I use Garnier Fructis' Sleek and Shine. I love it. _smile.gif

As for pulling it up... I use crab clips. (The ones that are like two combs stuck together. Sorry, don't know the accurate name) They're really spiffy, come in different colors and easy to use. ^_^
