I didn't know which one to choose, but I was forced to by the board.
And my say in this is... you don't want him to be TOO tall or TOO shorter than you. What if you were 6'1 and he was 4'5? And what if you were 4'5 and he was 6'1... if would be pretty awkward to kiss him.. If you're only off by a couple of inches, then it don't matter.. but if you're off by a couple of feet... to me it kind of matters. it would just be odd to have to bend down or lean down and kiss them. and you can`t exactly wear high heels or anything like that when you are with him because then you will be dramatically taller than him and it will look weird, like at a dance or something like that. plus i agree with maia_dc about being able to rest your head on his shoulder and stuff like that

Well, I'm 5', I'm pretty average... There are several guy friends I know that are a bit shorter then me, but I wouldn't date them. I personally think it doesn't matter. All the guys I hang out with, and know are taller then me though...Starting from 5'3" and up. The tallest, I would have to say is 6'2"... Haha,

Eh. Guys at my school are so freaking short. I'm like 3 inches taller than all of them. Yeah, don't mean to be shallow or anything, but to have a taller boyfriend is a lot better for me. Like, for example, if there's a dance or anything and you're wearing heels and your bf is already shorter than you, then it'd look awkward. yeah, taller guys just make everything easier, but too tall is ... scary.

i said i don't know yet. but i actually do. i'm 13 and taller than most guys my age so i normally go out with orlder guys, mainly because of that. but if i like a guy enough, as long as he's not too short, i don't really care that much.

I used to think the guy should always be taller until I fell in love sitting down with a girl who was so funny and smart what was I gonna do, get mad at her for being a head taller than me? Several of her girlfriends are taller than me too and they tease me for being short, even tho I'm 5'10" which is average for a guy, but it's all in good fun. She always wins at basketball too and in her heels she is 9 inches taller than me!! Sure people stare and occasionally make stupid comments, but we just laugh, we love each other too much to care and we've been together almost 5 years! So I would definitely say the person is much more important than the height, but that doesn't mean you're shallow if you want the guy to be taller, it just means you know what you like and what you don't like! I don't know if I'll ever date a shorter girl again tho lol!

It isn't a huge problem if he's shorter than me, but I would still want a guy who's as tall or taller than I am. It's not like I would completely turn down all guys shorter or anything, but it's wayyy better for me if he was taller or as tall.

well my boyfriend is only like 3 inches taller than me. so if i wear heels or boots im taller. he says he doesnt care, but i do. dont know why...i guess i dont want to look like a big oaf next to him. heh
