Okay. My cousins are English Speaking American Kids (well, I am too.. but I wasn't born here) and they don't speak a bit of Filipino. Now my mom and my nanny aren't good at english.. and if you talk to them in English so fast .. then.. well, they'll misunderstand you. Like..

[example 1]
My cousin: Where is the bathroom?
My nanny: ! *goes and grabs a glass cup*
My cousin: ?
My mom: [in filipino: bisaya] He said where's the bathroom.
My nanny: [in filipino: bisaya] Oh... I thought he said baso (which is glass cup in filipino: bisaya)

[example 2]
My cousin: Tita Bing, do you have a pen I can use?
My mom: What?
My cousin: Do you have a pen I can use?
My mom: No... we don't have pineapple juice.
Me: *cracks up*
My mom: Wait, what'd he say?
Me: Do. You. Have. A. Pen. I. Can. Use? *slowly*

Do you guys know people who misunderstand things a lot? laugh.gif

My friend's experience at work (she works at a restaurant):
Customer: Can I have a pork?
My friend left and made a pork sandwich and returned with it.
Customer: No, can I have a pork?
Friend: Excuse me? This is a pork sandwich..
Customer: NO! A pork!
Friend: Pork?
Customer: You know, like a spoon and a pork!

... he meant fork. He couldn't pronounce F's. ;p

That reminds me of my mom so much. The other day my sister, my friend Jordan, and me were at the mall and Kat was trying to ask my mom about going over her friend Dave's house for New Year's. My sister was like "Can I go to Dave's house?" My mom: "Huh, what? Who?" Kat: "Can...I...Go...To...Dave's...House?" My mom: "Ohh, I'll pick you guys up later." Kat: "NO MOM I SAID CAN I GO TO DAVE'S HOUSE ON FRIDAY FOR NEW YEARS?!" Then they just started yelling at each other -- it was hella funny!

lol PINEAPPLE JUICE haha laugh.gif

ahhaha I misunderstand english words! I must be hearing Pokemon because when I was watching Yu Gi Oh on tv today, that one girl (who Joey likes) was all "Magic card blah blah blah!" And I thought she said "MAGIKARP!"

Bleh there's other things I hear but I can't remember what I thought it was.. it was pretty funny though.

I swear, I'm deaf in 1 ear, my left ear!
