Help w/ installin Sims 2 |

Ok So i just bought Sims 2 DVD edition, and i got 2 comps the one i play games on dosent have a fast enough DVD rom and my other has the fast DVD rom but not enogh memory or good gfx card. So i tryed to install Sims on one comp and transfer the already installed onto other comp via FTP...didnt work. i tried regestrin the CD key of sims w/ Steam it didnt work...so can anyone help me out here and gimme some ideas? cuz i dont wanna pay 75 bux to buy a DVD rom to play a game tats 50...

Just swap DVD-Rom drives between the two computers.
What do you mean you tried to regesture the CD Key through Steam? What does Steam have to do with the Sims 2? And of course it won't work if you try to send the files from one comp to the other because by doing so, it isn't "installed" all you have are the files. And if you're paying $75 for a DVD-Rom drive then that's way too much, $75 can get you a 16x DL DVD Burner. |
