What would be a nice gift to get from your ex? He asked me what I wanted after I did awesome in the national exams (similar to SATs). The thing is he only has 50 bucks because he spent everything on his one month anniversary with his current girlfriend.

Yeah you don't have to tell me, the whole thing's nuts. _dry.gif

So now I'm like ---> wacko.gif

What the heck can you get for 50 dollars? He's too poor. wink.gif

He just wants to congratulate me. So he asked me what I wanted and gave me a budget. stubborn.gif This whole exam thing was something huge for us when we were a couple and he's always been there for me whenever I needed help finding information. So it kinda makes sense that my ex wants to celebrate the whole thing with me.

Actually my ex lives in US so whatever he gets will be from there. It's a whole long complicated story. He's gotten me a cellphone before. He's getting me a new one soon. It's mainly digital gadgets. mellow.gif

why would anyones ex get them a present? thats lyk..insane? why would u want him to even spend all of his money on you. if he has a girlfriend, let him spend the money on her. it seems to me that ur using him for gifts.

yeah, a gift card would be nice, or just the money, $50 can't really get you a lot in the US in my opinion tongue.gif

no...a stuffed animal wouldn't be a nice gift from an ex...that's like a boyfriend gift...you wouldn't want to be hugging a stuffed animal knowing you ex gave it to you ermm.gif

Why is it such a big deal to all you guys that exes can't give presents? Not all breakups happen bitterly, you know.

I don't know what you can get for 50...well actually, I know a lot of things you can get for under 50, but I'm not exactly sure what you'd like. Maybe just use the 50 to throw a small National Exams Are Over! party. =]
