I think it depends on where you are from. Most of the time its around 14-15 where you can get a job, but its very limited.

I'm 13.
I had a paper route when I was 12. _smile.gif
In some states, you can work at fast food places at the age of 14.. but I'm not 100% sure on that one.. and I imagine that it would depend upon where you live.

someone made a related topic but yeah um im 14. i still dont have a job. i used to work at an apartment recreation center/house leasing office where i filed stuff, helped customers, mark packages, all sorts of office stuff. even though i didnt get paid. i made a lot of adult friends. im still in touch with one of them. i always feel special when im there. its like im VIP cuz you have to be 16 year or older to get in but they let me in.

my mom said she might make me work at a korean royal bakery. its gay but i need money. lol but everytime i see their store, they have no customers..

I got my first job when I was 14, at a hotel as a waitress. Unfortunately, I still have that same job at the age of 17... and I hate it!

i doubt it. most people are looking for someone who can spell and have decent grammer. that kicks you out of it.

heh, i never said i don't like you. i'll post whever the hell i want to. you may be 13 now, but you have (or lack of, i should say) the comman sense and basic grammer skills of six year old. wait, six year olds now when to use periods.

what i said was the truth. you're going to have a pretty damn hard time getting a job when you're 14. where i live, wendy's can hire people at 14, but that doesn't mean they do. do you're parents know you want a job? i'm sure they'll have a grand time driving you to and from work.

Can't until you're 15 or 16, I think. And even then you need a permit. Plus you'll hate your job if you get one so soon, trust me.

Then learn how to spell grammar if you want to offend someone by telling them they cannot complete a sentence correctly.

I live in California too, and I don't think you can get a job until you're 16. I'm not positive though. Babysit your neighbor's kids or something.

parents would go insane if I had a job...they tell me that I have two options.

1. Get a job
2. Go to school

And I could choose only one. Well. I'm choosing school. rolleyes.gif I think the minimum for around my area being 16 and having your license...something like that.

mmm oh and, my friend who lives in hawaii...he's 17 and he works at pizza hut as the cook there. happy.gif
