i didnt like it.

i thought it was rather boring, and the plot ever so slowly progressed throughout the movie.

Hehe. I never watched it but I heard it was bad. o _ o
Yes, yes, now I'll have to go through the angry mob of people who just said it was good. xP Anyways, this is only my opinion, but I'm sure that this was NOT Julia Robert's best film. It did not gain much popularity and it didn't really have an "it" factor. =/

What I mean by "it" factor is something like the movie Pirates of the Carribean. THIS movie had an it factor. It had a few different plots in the story and the story had progressed in a nice pace. Plus, great actors were chosen for this. ie. Orlando Bloom/Johnny Depp. The people who created this movie also took into mind that Orlando Bloom was popular and put him in the movie which made Pirates of the Carribean be more popular. On the other hand.. Mona Lisa Smile just chose Julia Roberts.. Even though she is a really talented actress and is really famous, she wasn't really being talked about during the time it came out.

Again, this is only my ideas.. whistling.gif

I loved Mona Lisa Smile.
i think it taught good lessons about life. but that's just me. i think julia roberts did a really good job, but i think the reason why it didn't gain much popularity was because 1) guys didn't really see it cause it was basically a movie about women 2) not too many people like those kinda movies.

but i guess that's just me

very reasonable feedback. since u havn't seen it yet, don't judge a movie by wat others think... watch it THEN decide by urself. i no dat doesn't make any since but i'm like dat.

the ending seemed sad to me cuz only in the end, when julia roberts laves, only then did that bettty girl realize that julia robert's teachings were right...

basically, you don't miss your water til your well runs dry.

so sad..

I loved this movie~! wub.gif It was very inspiring and although I agree that the pace was a bit slow, it was, over all, a good film. I've had my own encounter with a specific "instructor or teacher" who changed my completely uptight and routine world. It was very touching. I hear it was based on a true story.. mellow.gif buh anyway, i loved it~ happy.gif

The movie really moved at a slow pace but if you just sit and watch, you'll find that it's actually really good.

mona lisa smile is about a teacher making a difference where a school fer women is mostly about tradition..(takes place back in da 50's)

its not a movie fer guys but my dad enjoyed it and thought it was fairly a good movie..

and i learned not to get a guy's opinion on a gurl movie..LOL

unless yall guys have a sentimental side...then youd like it..

i almost cried at the end.. cry.gif

julia roberts was perfect fer the role of the main character and so were the other characters..

well played too..

touched my heart!

its a must see fer girls!

so REPRESENT!!!
