Even my mother listens to Linkin Park. (She knows the words to In The End.)

I have to disagree. Even though I love Linkin Park I do not think they are the best rock group in history. I would have to say that Metallica is. IMO

Because prior to "the Black Album" Metallica was the living definition of rock, since then theyve been the biggest sellouts in the history of music. I still wouldn't call them the greatest rock band of all time though.

No, i don't think they're the "BEST ROCK BAND EVER."

I used to be a fan of them, back when it was just Hybrid Theory. Meteora was kind of.. gay, it was alright though i guess.

For anything, i think that LP is going to be a phad now.

I loved them back in 2000 when their first CD came out (not counting Hybrid Theory EP) but I dunno they just got way to popular. I still like them but just not as much.

I used to be obsessed with Linkin Park.. hence my Xanga username.
I still love them, but I've moved on a bit.
They're great.. I have all of their CDs, and it's fun to listen to them from time to time. Chester's still hot and blah, blah, blah. _smile.gif
But that Linkin Park / Jay-Z shit really pissed me off. -_-

actually, people started hearing them when they came out with the song numb.... and mtv started OVERplaying them

mtv always played them, since they had their first album, just not this much

and now, that they colaboed with jay-z, more fans were brought in from jay-z

The collision course with Jay-Z is kinda weird. Its like "In the end I tried so hard, but in the in it doesn't even matter!" then suddenly Jay-Z pop's outta nowhere like yeah "I got bitches and ho's!"

I thinkt there is a connection there.... Linkin Park... they tried so hard to get some ho's and are screaming their lungs out over then Jay-Z comes out makin' fun of 'em like yeah I got all that shit already =P
