does anyone know how to make them on photoshop?? I think you use the magic wand but I can't figure out how it's used..

tranparent stuff? like where some of the picture is transparent? uh.. the part where i want to be transparent i just erase it.. adobe photoshop shows that a picture is transparent when it has those gray and white checkered squares.. yeah ahem ill shut up now =]

not sure what you mean...
Do you mean how to make certain layers transparent...or do you want the pic on a transparent background?? |

well you know sometimes when you find a wallpaper and it has a nice picture on it and you just want to use the picture on it for a layout or what not and you don't want the rest of the wallpaper. how do you get it so you just get the picture part?

in that case you can just use the crop tool and make the picture the size you want it and delete the space around it. Other than that you can use the magic wand tool to select areas and then cut/delete them out. You can then zoom in and use the eraser tool to get the little areas that the wand may have missed.

click on the eraser tool, then go to your picre and right click. Then go to background eraser. once there, set your setting to how much of the bg you want erased

make a new file > background : transparent
copy all of your image paste into the new file. magic wand/crop anything you want transparent and delete. magic wand selects anything surrounding the point you click that has the same color. have fun. |
