PROS- If you get the regular IPod, you can get a 40GB one, more space. :D People think you're cool if you have one. lolol jk. True, you don't have to change CDS, and you don't have to waste time burning CDs because all you have to do is download the music file and then transfer.

CONS- expensive, and also, the battery life is only about.. what.. 12 or 20 hours? And I heard after 300 charges, you'll have to go and buy a new battery for the IPod, which would probably cost 200-250$+ dollars, or you could just go out and buy another one. Something like that... <_< >_>

Expensive: Will im not really sure about that. Costco sells them for only $250. well the last time i checked they were that much.

Battery Life: 12 or 20 hours??!?!! Wha... mine only lasts like 6 or 8. then again I do have the crappy third genereations _dry.gif

New Batter Price: It is not $200+. I had to get mine replaced and I only had to pay $100. thats still pretty high but whatEVAH.

ipod is better then ipod mini. all ipod mini has is the beauty. ipod you pay just half the price more and you can fill up much more songs and its stronger lasting. lol. so get IPOD not IPOD MINI

Get an iRiver. The battery lasts longer and you can get a color screen for about $469.99

:D
Or $369.99 for 20gb and it comes with an FM tuner that works great and a voice recorder. You can store images too. I love it.
x]
This applies for both 20gb and 40gb.

Pros: Easy to use, very user-friendly, not big and bulgy like Dell's jukebox or other models, many ways to sort and organize music.

Cons: Fear of getting stolen, headphones (can be replaced), hard to see in the dark without backlight.

Replies: For people who are saying after ONLY 250 (actually the new generations are 500 charges) charges you have to replace, if you do the math most peopl can go 2-3 days without recharging the iPod, If you do that means you have it for about 1,000-1,250 days, thats about 2-4 years. Which is a lot more than most other MP3 players on ion batteries last.

i have a mini
i think the pros are that its small ; easy to take around ; it works really goood
cons are the fact that to me people alwayz wanna see it ; it can get stolen specially since lots of people want one & the fact that it cost 250

personally i like the mini better than the regular ipod ;; cuz its smaller biggrin.gif

but the mini only holds 1000 sooo if yu need more songs than that the ipods fer yu i guess

hrm...

Pros - IPods hold more space than the mini. The mini looks better. Mini is more portable because it's smaller.

Cons - The IPod mini only has 20 gb, while the IPod has 40 gb.

Conclusion...I would get an IPod or an IRiver. >_>

Pros:

looks like a bar of white soap.
plays Itunes music.
it's popular.

Cons:

B and W (20g version)
cost
no recording capabilitys (need add on= $)
No Photo viewing capabilities (need photo version= $$$$)
no FM tuner (need add on - $)
can only play itunes music (no DRM WMAs, like napster sells)
scroll wheel ( i hate it. i just do. songs aren't in a circle... they're straight up a down...)
looks like a bar of white soap
the back gets fingerprints on it like a cop's fingerprinter
only one headphone jack
