changing music format, help

i know this code where u can pick your own music, but the only format for the songs that u can use for the code to work is if its like this [mms://218.38.55.216/LOW_WMA/313/313536.asf'] but i cant find a lott of songs in that format... i was wondering is there a way to change the code so i can use alll format?

if the code u got is from this site, it will work for any types of music files regardless of the file's extensions.

The problem you are getting is simple to solve. ASF files and WMA files are streaming files, which means that it can be played as soon as they are loaded.

Other file formats, such as MP3s and WAVs, they have to be downloaded before they can be played back. Therefore, you may think that those types do not work. but it may be actually downloading the entire song, trying to play the file.

I think that is the reason for ur problem

There are many programs that you can use to convert various audio formats to different audio formats

Googling for them is the solution..

and after u convert the file, u need to upload the file and link it to ur xanga

i found this one code and supposly all format of music should be oka. but i tried it and it still doesnt work. :[
