Well when it comes to digital cameras I have a Canon PowerShot SD-10 Digital Elph. I must say that this thing is amazing!!! Its a 4.0 megapizel camera and it gets the job done with its 5.7 digital zoom and DigiTech technology. The other great part is how compact the size of the camera really is. Its so small it could fit in your shirt pocket with ease!

If I were you though I would go with Canon as the brand name to choose for your camera. They are a very reputable company with high standards in technology, so you really can't go wrong.

Here are some pictures I have taken in different lighting environments to give you an idea of clarity my camera can deliver and the clarity of a 4 megapixel can give as well. happy.gif

er...well the camera is a little out of your range then. Try about $150 dollars out of your range actually. Yet you should still check out other cameras that Canon has put out. I am sure with $200 you can buy a descent camera anyway.

Yeah you can get a camera for a a maximun price of $200. Mine was like about $150 or so...it's pretty decent I guess...(I still want another one though...). It's HP(howard err I forgot his last name lol) with 3.34 MP, video and audio, 5x digital zoom. It's better when you get it around the holidays like I did cause it's a big sale. lol tongue.gif

canons are a bit out of ur budget, but if u can squeeze out the money, they are well worth it, Canon's a-line is pretty affordable. I have the A70, and it works like a charm, fo course unless ur a professional photographer u don't need the a80, cuz everything i've tried wit ma a70 is perfect, it prints, develops, webposts, GORGEOUS! [3.2 mp resolution, 10x digital zoom, movie capability....and total control over lighting, shutterspeed, etc. ] I luv it! wub.gif

I own a Sony DSC-P5 and a Sony DSC-P72, both very good cameras and can be found under 200 bucks. Ebay has a whole bunch of 'em on sale.

That Minolta Dimage looks pretty nice. Pretty compact and it packs some power. I'd buy it, but it's over 300 bucks, right? And your budget is 200? I'm tellin' you. Get a Sony DSC camera. You can find one with at least 3.2 mp, 3x optical zoom(thas a must), 6x digital zoom, and mpeg movie w/ sound on ebay under 200 bucks. I got very lucky when I got my Sony DSC-P5. I did some research and it cost like 400 to 500 bucks new. I won it for like 170. It was used, but in like new condition. The seller even threw in 200 bucks worth of accessories like 128 mb card, usb memory card reader, extra lithium battery, extra lithium battery charger, and a leather camera bag. As you can see, I'm one happy customer!

I got my Canon PowerShot SD200 for a little more than $100. biggrin.gif It came with a "free" printer, but my dad later on found out the rebate didn't come. The printer was still cheap, and a really good one. I bought my camera at Office Depot. They don't sell my camera in stores anymore. I might get a new one next year. I was about to buy the $99 or less Kodak EasyShare but it's ugly and there's only digital zoom. The Kodak one is thick too. Mines is 1/6 inches thickness. My dad doesn't like it cus he can't hold it. I don't care because it's my camera! Well, just shop around and go to your local Office Depot. I looked all over for a perfect camera, and I found the right one there. Try the "office stores." We found a great camera at Staples for my dad's friend. It was a Nikon and was about $200 because his was about 4.0 megapixels. Mine is 3.2 but still good. Shop around! happy.gif
