Since it's just about december I've been thinking... Have any of you ever truly believed in Santa? Also, have you ever faked believing in Santa just to get extra gifts?

As far as I know, I never did believe in Santa. I just pertended so I can get extra gifts. But all that came to a stop when i was in 6th grade lol

wow.

You guys are no fun. Santa rocks my socks. I know he's not really like this fat guy in a suit, but he was a real Saint before. The spirit still lives in me! Besides, I wouldn't get extra presents anyway.

...Wow that was corny.

It really makes me feel bad when I go Christmas shopping with my mom and she picks some stuff up for my sisters, and then I see it under the tree labeled "From Santa"...

I just get this sinking feeling, like it's just all over and I just want to be a kid again.

-noticed santa's handwriting looks exactly like my moms handwriting
-I caught my parents putting gifts under the tree as *santa*
-I caught my dad eating the Santa Cookies I made for santa..

You know what's sad? That when kids write letters to Santa and the post office writes fake ones. A way to crush spirits you know? I believed in him until 4th grade. Now, I just pretend to hope that he's real. It's sad.

I think I've TRIED to believe in Santa.. but I sorta knew at the back of my head that he wasn't real. I remember finding an old Christmas card that I made for Santa in one of the drawings in my living room.. I was like "What the heck is this doing here..?!" I think my mom put it there when she was packing up the Christmas tree.

lol yah i used to believe in santa when i was little. and the whole bring down a glass of milk and cookies thing. It was like 1 in the morning and I woke up and thought, "omg! what if santa is lactosse intolerant!" and ran downstairs to change the milk to grape juice or somethan, and then i saw my dad and mom setting up a barbie house for me, and i got really disappointed and went back upstairs sad.gif

lol and yah i did 'fake' believe in santa, because the next day my mom was like, "merry christmas from santa!" and i'm like "oh boy" _dry.gif

I never believed in santa. But it's fun to watch cartoons and claymation about the life of santa and stuff like that.

Anyway, no i never faked it. but even so, my half sister would buy gifts and write "fron santa" on it. It was sooo obvious lolol.
