That red and that green is just too much together. It is way too bright. Your text is like impossible to read.. unless you squint.
 And the text on the banner is jagged. With that said, I suggest you make the background of the page a muted.. mellow type of yellow. Or a deeper red. Just try playing around with the colors to make your text much more readable.

the colors are really bright.. nearly blinded me lol. i think you should try to blend the banner into the blog area. also, the text looks jagged around the edges.

its okay.. The banner is to bright...and you should line up the banner with your border at least too. What the point if ur line cut through the banner? Shouldnt it line up with it? Insead of making it separate?

Umm...Christmas green is more of a forest green, not lime green. And I personally think your banner is a little bright. And like souldreamers said, the text on it is jagged. Nice try though. Cute idea.
