Yeah, it does. Makes me sick. Does it lag lots for you? I have to boot my computer in safe mode to play it without the lagging.

It's like... there's a whole new stage of life (Young Adult) and people get to go to college and earn degrees and such

I couldn't wait to get this game! When I heard they were making it and all the cool things they were putting in and making better, I was ecstatic... but then I got the game and I built a house... and then I stopped playing. ::lol::

So, I returned the game... it was definitely a waste of $50. Seeing as I rarely play it now, it's just taking up a lot of space and I'm about to delete it.


But it is definitely cooler than the first!

i kinda went through a sims phase i went like a month just eating, sleeping, and playing that damn game (well the sims one) ahah. it's awesome but i just don't have time for it anymore... there was much hype about the second one. is it that grand? what are the new stuff besides the aging (sp? that word looks so WEIRD!)?

Ooh, I got it the weekend it came out. >:D
I love it.. but I like the first Sims better.. and all of the expansion packs for that one.
I don't really go for the 3D aspect of it.
And yeah, it loads incredibly slowly. ><
But it's awesome.. I must re-install it, now that I think about it.

the difference between the sim 1 and the sims 2 is the detail and that people can grow up. It is more realistic. I love it to death. I want to play right now, but I'm not at home. It is tonsof fun!!!! For those off you who didn't like the orginial this one is ten times better.

You can do so much. You can create movies have the sims paint you and stuff.

Omg.
I am obsessed with the sims originals.

But the Sims 2, I wanted to get it when it came out, but it's $50.00. I saw at Staples now ( 12/25/04) and it's only 40.00.

I mean, I should've gotten it, except i heard it takes up a shitload of space on your computer. And my computer is so freakin' slow already...

And I bought hot date, and I almost couldn't install it cause I had too little space.
OH, and I need a video card.

yes, its quite addicting, but i wouldnt buy it if i were you, unless you have a 128GB computer haha
