Contacts, I just got mine! =]

I just got some brand spankin' new contacts today..But that's not the point of this post. I need some pointers on how to put in soft contacts because I keep trying, but it always gets stuck on my hand. -__-;;..Thanks for the help if you post! Also, I keep crying each time I try. xD

i have contacts and all, but i suck with helping people put them in. Why didnt the people at the optometrists help you?

Make sure your hands are dry.
When you put your contact in, hold it upwards, so that the bottom part goes in first.

Use one hand to pull your eyelids open and wider. Yes, make sure your hands are dry, but be sure to wash them beforehand and then dry them. Then take out the contacts and put them on. They will hurt alot at first, but gradually you'll start to not notice they're in your eye anymore =P

Well, I don't know any good tips for putting them in, but make sure your hands are CLEAN!!

yeah make sure your hands are dry... and then put the contact on the tip of your hand so only the bottom part and not the sides stick on your finger... then hold open your eye with your other hand... and you might hafta stick your finger in there and apply a little more pressure to make sure it sticks in your eye

here's sum advice: dun drop em on the floor!! i did by accident when i was younger, n when my mom put em on(cause i didnt know any better but to put em back in da container-thing) and her eye started hurting. i felt so guilty....but it went away n she was ok happy.gif blink.gif
