Whether Alexander is Greek or not he still falls under the Greek History/Mythology category because he did a lot for the Greek culture. His ethnicity has nothing to do with it.

I'm not quite sure that I like where you're going with this jliatmk ....

The topic is arguable because ... it depends on your basis of "ethnicity" (if thats what you want to call it) ..... it depends on whether you regard "race" or "culture" differently .... in my case, I regard them differently. Alexander is known to have Greek roots .... its even thought that he has traces back to Achilles .... but he is also a part of Macedonian culture.

I regard myself as Taiwanese AND Chinese .... partially because I AM. I am of the Chinese race .... but am also of the Taiwanese culture. The two are hardly the same .... and I hardly think that the Greek and Macedonian cultures are either ... its still possible to be regarded as both though.


and I do have to agree with LuvsDogs387 ....

No matter how you look at it ... Hitler was a born Austrian .... yet he's also a part of German history. (not exactly the best of examples but proves a point)
