My parents think it does, and in a sense.. I guess it does.
If you listen to/play postive music, you're most likely to be a more positive and happy person.
If you litsen to/play negative music, you're most likely to be a more negative and unhappy person.
Hmm. I guess that explains why I'm always so negative towards things. mellow.gif

yes because I think this will be a good example.

Last week, this guy brought in Metallica and The Doors or w/e tht crap is called to gym. He puts in on the large speakers so the whole gym was the sound of Metallica and crap. It was HORRENDOUS! (sorry but Metallica and The Doors really suck in my book) when those crappy CD started playin, everyone in the gym was so depressed. half was *TURN THIS CRAP OFF!!!!* and the other half was like *this music makes me wanna kill myself..*

yah..this story is true..

ps: metallica and The Doors really do suck to me..

Yeah, it influences styles, the way of life and even the way we talk...like how bling-bling got added to the Webster's Dictionary book. Funny...but it's true.

idunno, I think as long as you listen to a distinct certain type of music, it will influence you.. or a majority atleast. if you listen to everything, equally, I dont think it will much.

maybe. you are feeling a type of emotion so you listen to the music to fit your needs. instead of having the music from the start change your emotion.

you're angry. that's why you listen to angry music.
emo kids are sad all the time. that's why they listen to emo music.

people listen to music that relates to them in some way, or goes with their mood at the time. when i'm not in a good mood, i'll listen to emo music, but when i'm not in a bad mood, i'll listen to cheerful music.
