okay..when i get foundation, in pics, i always come out pale. is this because it's not my skin tone? or it happens b/c i have foundation on? and how do you know if it's the right skin tone..since there's no samples! =(

The color of your foundation should always be one shade lighter than your skin. Also, don't just wear plain foundation. Lightly brush powder over it.

for foundation u should go to one of those department stores and ask for samples in ur shade. they'll help you find it, and if its too expensive to buy a tube of foundation from the department store just as for a sample so you can browse the drug stores like cvs and find it yourself.

lol ok i'm def a foundation expert. I know some ppl tell you to wear a shade lighter or darker, but you need to wear YOUR skin tone, to make it look more natural, same thing when you buy concealor, it needs to be the same skin tone. And you can also get powder to go over the foundation to set it, i do that, and try to get around your coloring too. Go to a department store to the makeup counter and ask for help on figuring out your skin tone and type. Because some makeup will make you break out or somethan like that. So go shopping! happy.gif

Also, don't CAKE on your foundation! some ppl make a mask of foundation and it totally covers up their natural beauty, just use it sparingly to cover up imperfections and even up your skin tone.
