Do you think it's more painful to die yourself, or to have someone you know and love die?

For me, I would have to say it's more painful for a loved one to die.
Even though no one I knew have died except my grandfather when I was 6, but for some reason I got over it really quickly.

Well..

If I die, only I would be pained, physically but (I'm pretty sure..) if I die, many relatives would be hurt spiritually.

Same goes for the someone I love... except, in a different perspective.

Hurts more if someone i love died. Because i'm emotionally hurt much more than any type of phsyical pain. Plus the so called pain would only last for a while but if someone i love died then i would be emotionally unstable for the longest time.

for me, someone close to me dying would be more painful than dying myself... but then again, i had 3 close ppl die on me already, to the point that i wanted to die to see them again, and i thought to myself, dying would be painful, for me and to my loved ones, and den dere's dis thing widd me not wanting my relatives and loved ones to die cuz it'd cause more pain versus the me dying thing and my spiritual thought of getting trapped in eternal pain if i killed myself for them, or then again...i'm juss confuzzed... XD ?.?

both. theres no more or less....because it would hurt to die myself not knoing whats gonna happen....like would i disappear? is there reall a heaven? reincarnation? then for a loved one...well that would be just as horrible

when one i love dies i show no remorse. death cannot be slowed or avoided. why cry over something which is destined to happen? my death? i simply work on speeding up the process

Well I have experienced a loved one dieing, but I dont know, is it painful to die yourself? Never experienced that before [duh..] but I guess a loved one dieing would be way worse.

i think a loved one. cause if u die it might be quick n instant, but i'd miss loved ones reeeeaaaallly badly, n da pain wouldnt go away

i m very sensitive to pain, so i would not like to die, but then, who isnt?
well it would be really painful for a loved one to die too, and i tried to imagine myself in the situation, i think i mite die for them...

it is more painful when someone we love dies...why? becuz they are taking a part of us with them...in other words..they are gone..and you are alone to bear with the pain. everyone goes through with this..some hate it..some bear with it...its the natural process of life.

i got mixed answers. but i do think its more painful so see someone else die even if you dont know them. for example, movies, when someone dies you cry but u dont exactly know them.

this is an interesting topic...i think same as u cuz if i die then i hopefully wont feel anything but if sumone else dies that u love...well then its causing u pain and u have to live through it you know?....though many ppl have died in my family during my lifetime i never really knew them...so i didnt feel that sad or nothin...i felt really bad and guilty though...that i didnt feel anything.
