on november 5th for 5 days i have to take
the white baby and i chose a girl and it's crazy. you have to wear a wrist band on your wrist for the whole time and when it cries you stick it in the back, hear a beep and use the bottle with a computer chip to it's mouth.. change it's diaper and make sure the pad is on the censor.. rock it.. or it could be crying just because it is fussy. and it will wake you up in the middle of the night. im the last person to go and everyone is like IT WOKE ME UP AT 4 IN THE MORNING. no one wanted a baby after that lol. and you have to carry a carrier/car seat type thing.. a diaper with a can of canned food in it for the substitute of formula. and if you tilt the head back then it SCREAMS. trust me.. it crazy. the head tilts back like 5 inches and doesnt stop crying when you do that for a long time. it has a computer chip in to tell if you neglected it, rough handled it, abused it, didnt have a diaper on, didnt feed it, shaken baby syndrome, head drops. and all of this is what she told us lol. it is worth like 40% of our fricken grade and have to record everytime it cried on a sheet and write how you felt. and then you have two weeks after you hand in the baby to write a paper. im ready for you. would you want it?

from their site.

this is probably why it's called "baby think it over". they don't want us to reproduce. they want us to think it over.

You know what would be some hilarious irony?
If a girl who was assigned one did so well with one, and enjoyed it, she up and decided to get knocked up. She just looooved the idea of taking care of a baby, she decides she's responsible enough to take care of a real baby. She just wants something 'that can love her back' because she's deprived of love from her parents, friends, etc.
Damn thing would do the complete opposite of it's original purpose.
It could happen. It's a good reason to try and put a stop to these little monsters. laugh.gif

OMG I can't stand little kids and babies when they cry or act like little brats...which is why I'm never intentionally having kids. Yeah, babies are cute and all but I could never do it full time. There's a class at our school that does a project with those dolls but it's an elective and I never have and never will take it.

Edit: Oh yeah, I forgot to add that I would never be able to wake up during the night if it cried anyways. I'm a heavy sleeper and once I'm out I'm out.

Another edit:

I had one of those for health class like two years ago. It was annoying. And when wherever I go, people would always stare, wondering if it's a real baby. I mean, I remember one time, when me and my friend were gonna go to the mall, she insisted I bring the baby, so I did, and while I was there, I got a whole bunch a stares. I even had people coming up to me asking if it's real. And there was also this one band, Undecided, there that was signing autographs, so while me and my friend were getting autographs, the guys of the bands were awesome and were just playing with the doll and saying how instead of a doll, they had to carry around sacks of flour.

i think its an interesting but good idea. i'm not too sure i'd do it myself, because i'm pretty busy but otherwise, i might try it but not for too long. it's good for people who are really considering having a family and have no idea what its all about.

i got baby think it over in 8th grade for health class...uhh!!! hated it! I thought it was real cute at first then my arm cramped from holdin it so much, it cried all the time for no reasons and i couldnt make it stop, and people give you really dirty looks in stores. The head falling back cry is the worst. and if you leave it cry for like 1 min the cry gets louder and screamy..that sux too..

i had that devil baby last year for religion class. everyone thought it was real and gave me evil looks. when my friend had it she got pulled over by a cop for not having her baby in a car seat because he though it was real. i hated that baby. i ended up getting like 5 abuses after 3 days. good luck with it.

The people who chose Child Development class have to do that. Frick, one of hte girls was in my English class, and the baby wouldn't stop crying for half the period. The teacher made her go outside cuz it was so annoying lol. It sucks to carry that carriage thing around though.
