your design inspirations, who inspires you?

Does anyone have any designers that have really inspired you or even helped you to become the designer you are today?

I'd have to say my biggest inspiration/help would be Chrissy from Babychic.nu because all her vectors/illustrations/CG are always so amazingly done, and she really pays attention to details, and has a great sense of colors.

She used to host me at sexy-graffiti.com, and shes going to be hosting me now at babychic, so it's been really great being a part of her domain. I cant think of a single design I havent first shown her for critique. And she always gives me the right advice, and always in a respectful manner. She tells me what I've improved on lately, and what I need to work on to become better, and I have to say it's really helped me a lot.

Who's your inspiration and why?

hm i'd have to say this one friend of mine ali, she doesn't have a cb or online portfolio yet sadly. she's one of my best friends and she doesn't do much layout stuff but she is an amazing artist, both by hand and on the computer. her ideas are also always so creative and great. from here, a few i'd say would be trish, roxy, and nick because all their stuff is just so good and has what has made me want to start up photoshopping and web design again because i used to be really into it then i kinda just dropped it, but now i'm picking it up again slowly so yeah. happy.gif

Annika from annikavonhholdt.com. Her graphics are really great, not to mention the brushes she makes.

Steve (tal_dara). Love his art, It's very original.

Tere from tere-art.com. Her blends (particularly the X-file ones) are always so... refreshing. She uses her own textures and brushes which are just really great.

My friend Vogue (<her personal site). I'd see the stuff she put on her xanga and be like, "Hey, I wanna learn how to do that." And that's how I got into it.
