[Introduction]...Summer Dreams... Options

It was a cold night in October when I made that CD with all the songs to remind me of a summer of love and surf that I would never forget (not exactly in that order). I played that Summer Mix CD until I knew the scratches and skips by heart...
I grabbed my cord jacket and walked outside wearing my sun-soaked jeans, vintage shirt, and a laundry list of my faults. I stopped and took in a deep breath, trying to inhale all the cold in the night so I might get a glimpse of what the air would taste like in a few months...what it had tasted like the night I met her...what it had tasted like when I grabbed those kids from the rip current...what it had tasted like when I caught that one 7-footer, and that 2-footer that broke my fins off my board. I exhaled and saw a cloud of dreams slowly rise into the atmosphere, and my eyes followed it to the stars as my back found the cold hard steel of the hood of my car…It was going to be a long winter for us shorebreak loving-kids on the east coast...





Tell me what you guys think so far, like I said, this is the introduction to a sort of autobiographical story I'm thinking of writing.
