How many people.., taken a forgein language in school?

I probably spelt that wrong, shows how much i care about the languages lol.

So im a senior and im taking spanish II. Got some old teacher who retired 6 years ago but is still teaching cause she wants too *guess she didnt get the message the first time* so she gives us packets, no books, and gives us a test 2 times a week, wel the first one is a quiz, the second is the test, no warning and we are never really sure whats its on. I have a 49.5% in her class right now..im a senior and i need the credit to pass hs..if i fail cause of her im gonna be so pissed..

so...anyone eles take another language? biggrin.gif

I'm a junior and am in my fourth year of spanish but I'm only in Spanish III. It's sort of stupid...I took it in 8th grade but, even though I took it every day, the class period was shorter than it was at the high school so when I got to high school, it didn't count because we didn't cover as much material and I had to take Spanish I all over again.

hell no... Mandarin is the official language of China, but Chinese speak a lot of different accented-Chinese, so the official one is called Mandarin

i take spanish

im a sophmore and now in spanish 2, but in middle school i took the frist half of spanish 1 with a good teacher and the second half in 8th grade with a bad teacher so when i started spanish 2 in high school i was failing so i dropped back down

i'm in german III.... but im in a way in german IV because they do this rotation thing at school and im learning German IV stuff this year and next yera i will go to German III...

yeah i take spanish but since i'm from canada we don't call them by roman numerals, just by grade level. i'm in grade 11 spanish (4th year). its actually one of my better subjects too.

I'm a junior, and I dropped Spanish 3 this year... The teacher I had from last year didn't teach me anything... So when she started speaking to us in only Spanish I was like... Huh?

So I dropped it... I didn't need to take the class so yeah...

4th year of Latin. It's sad..I don't know anything..my teacher can't teach and I've had her for the past 3 years. The only year I actually learned something was in my 1st year.

I'm in 8th grade. I WAS supposed to be taking spanish one but they didnt let me bc i speak it fluently. they noticed i was trying to get an easy A. I didnt want to take french. sounds boring. so now i'm just taking yrbook & leadership _dry.gif

when I was a freshman I took Spanish 2 (repeated cos I didn't think I knew enough to advance to 3). But I never took it after that :P.

spanish. its easy for me though because tagalogs just like spanish. wooh! its my first time taking spanish but ive got like the 3rd highest grade in class biggrin.gif *smiles proudly* lol.

and i took french for 4 years when i was still living in indonesia.

yeah im a freshmen and i take spanish 1. its awesome. so much better then japanese in my opinon. i was in japanese but it was so hard and boring that i transferred into spanish and am so glad that i did. japanese yu have to learn so many stages! like writing, reading, and pronouncing. now i kno its like that for other languages. but not spanish! spanish is almost like english to me. its awesome...especially my teacher. he makes everything fun.

I took a year or so of Japanese in 8th grade and took French all four years of high school. I'm currently a third year French student in college.
