i'm the only one out of my brothers who hasn't run away, i've hiddin around the house before though, lol when i was like 7. anyways..if its really bad, you gotta do what you gotta do.

yeah i agree, if you're not independent or able to support yourself than you shouldnt cause most likely you'll end up going home anyway. if you want a break or something then i guess you can stay at your friends for awhile and let things chill?

(If you say "friends," think about it, won't they get sick of you being in their place and eating their food free of charge? Plus, think about what their parents might think.) You really want your relationship with your family to be ruined like that? You know how hard, not to mention awkward, it would be when you return home? Just some questions to consider.

I would run away if I had a job and a really good friend.
Other than that, I'd just try to face the fact that my family is stupid.

actually my friend's parents are not here, but your right my friend might get sick of the free of charge. and your right my parents and my relationship will be bad. but i dont plan to go back home?

Been there done that.. and believe me I understand that sometimes it really is the only option--but just stop and think about the consequences, is this what you reallly want???? Yes the family will get back at you.. If it's a matter of family issues, seek a counseler. It really isnt a smart thing to do b/c think about it--- could you really stay with your friend for ever? either way you will need your family so just bare with it until u go away to college

I was ready to leave when my dad kicked me out at like 11 y/o. I had 800 bucks from saved up bank acct, so I was packing up my stuff. My mom stopped me.

because you kno you'll have to be back someday, so theres really no point, just wait until you are 18 and then you can settle and start living somewhere else

nope, even if i did... i would have no where to go and im really dependant on my parents so i wouldnt be able to survive on my own.
i think i did once when i was young but i realized how much i would make them worry and that it would ache my heart to do such a thing when they love me so much.

u should never run away cuz ur parents really love you even tho the relationship is bad. they really care inside
u should love ur parents no matter what, think how u would be without them in ur life? definately not at the position u are right now but please do reconcider ur decision of running away
