'Gigli' is the saddest movie ever. laugh.gif

Err, that's a hard one...Maybe something along the lines of 'I am Sam'
Trying to think of an indie film that got to me...Blockbuster dramas usually don't get to me.

I'll probably repost/edit when I think of a good one.

MasteRXKiD ... I had some trouble thinking about a movie too, but I have finally come up with a concensus ...

Leon - The Professional in my opinion is the saddest movie ever .... its the first movie I ever had the balls to cry for .... It was an amazing film as well.

I'll be sure to check it out, sounds interesting.

And, wait a sec...Aren't foreign films usually the ones that get to people more? Just a thought.

Titanic made me cry; just thinking about all those people who died on that ship so horridly in the frigid water; some drowning, some slowly froze to death.

Passion of the Christ gotta be one of the top tho, yes Jesus did die for a good cause..but it was the process that he had to go through before death..it wasn't a FAST death, it was SLOOWWWW and painful..and that is juss depressing..since he Does not deserve it at all.. sad.gif

Lord of the Rings: Return of the King - I cried so hard coming out of the theatre. as a matter of fact, I cried really hard during several parts in the movie, especially the ending.

The Green Mile - Oh my gosh a movie has never made me cry so hard. I was completely bawling at the end it was so sad.

Anna and the King - When one of the King's daughters dies I cried badly.

The Patriot - There are a lot of sad parts in this movie.

Schindler's List - Enough said. Terribly sad.

ET - I cried like a baby when I watched this as a little kid. Who didn't cry in ET?

I'll probably think of more later.

I don't know, there are so many good sad movies. Moulin Rouge made me tear up, same with A Walk to Remember. The Notebook made me cry a little. I don't remember the last time a movie really made me bawl though. I think it's harder when you go to a movie expecting to cry. I cry more if I didn't know it was going to be so sad. Lol I cried during The Fox And The Hound when I was little. ^_^;

I'm a real cry baby, my brother is always telling me to stfu when we are at the theatre.

Well her is my list:

I'm a star wars geek... but I'ma post those at the end.

Passion of Christ - lol, the commercial made me cry, I never had the guts to watch my God's son nailed to a cross

Black Hawk Down

Pearl Harbor- OMG, friggin sad!!!!! I'm going to cry talking about it

The Patriot- *sniffs*

Titanic- OH JACKERS! WHY DID YOU HAVE TO LEAVE ROSE!!! Yes, he shall be remembered. God leonardo roxs my darn socks.

finding neverland

angels in the outfield - I cried when the angel said that one of the players was going to die of lung cancer

hook - sooo sad, why did they stab him???

I am Sam

The Notebook

The Color Purple

Lion King - omg, when Simba daddy died I was in so much shock.

My Girl- someone said it above. That guy from Home Alone.... Macaulay or something.... anyways it was sad.

The Green Mile

Armageddon

STAR WARS! Lets see.......

Phantom Menace when Obi Wans master died.

Attack of The Clones when Padme and Anakin kissed before they thought they were going to die, when they got married, and when his mother died, and when he was confessing his anger to padme.

REVENGE OF THE SITH... I was a dead cry baby -- crying because I couldn't believe I was watching it and.... just every part was so sad. omg don't get me started, I'm going to cry right now, and I'm serious, lol, my eyes are getting watery. One thing that made me really bawl was the fact that Obi Wan and Anakin were so close like brothers, and like father and son. 10 long years together and anakin says "I hate you" and tries to kill him. such a long relationship destoryed. and the ending without dialoge.... sad sht, sad sht.

A New Hope- I didn't really cry, I guess I was too young when I first watched it. But when I watched it after the sith, I cried with pride. Oh my poor Luke is growing up. and obi wan death... or is that the wrong one

Empire Strikes Back- The whole luke I am your father thing.

Return of the Jedi- The final battle, Anakins conversion to the good side and his death, the death of yoda. the last scene with obi wan, anakin (the edited one with hayden christensen) and yoda as spirits, watching over luke, leia, and han.

I haven't seen a lot of these movies, but I'd say The Joy Luck Club. I cried in like every scene of that movie. Gosh.
