I have to say this...I wasn't in the thread when it all started but, why do we insist to start stuff. I didn't think any of it was necessary! This may get closed but at least I get to get my point out.

Have yal ever heard of beauty is only skin deep?!? Well, apparently its the truth because the way some people act make them ugly. They can be absolutely gorgeous, but you know what without the personalty than what are you? All we need to do is state who you think is the hottest but, no, people have to go out and bash others. I thought it was against the guidelines to bash other members. Even with those rules, people don't listen or mods don't enforce them enough. Not saying that mods aren't doing their jobs. Just think we need to get more strict on some members that continously break the rules.

Also, if you have past problems with other members please settle them else where, and not post them in the Threads. You take away from other people posting something that might be more relevant to the subject.

I've been wanting to say the same exact thing...

It seems that several members here are all about starting drama which I find pretty pathetic considering this is only the INTERNET. Get off the computer, do something real with your life. If you wanna harass people or start trouble, do it in person with someone you actually know.

And then there are those who are so easily offended by things people are saying about them... so again must I repeat... THIS IS ONLY THE INTERNET. Come on guys, stop taking it all so damn seriously. Just have fun with it. If somebody else starts something, ignore, but if you feel the need to respond, please do so in a more mature manner. I mean, enough of us here are over the age of 16, so act like it. Perhaps, IM them rather than posting all your beef in these forums. Let's act our age, not like a bunch of silly elementary school kids.

And this whole hottest girl thing. My god, are some of you that SHALLOW? Does it really mean that much to some of you to turn it into something so ugly? I can't help but laugh and find it extremely pathetic that some of you can get so bent out of shape over some votes in an ONLINE "hottest" contest. If you really were "hot", wouldn't you have enough admirers in real life not to even been concerned with a silly little "Hottest Girls of CB" thread? You want competition? Get off the computer and find a real one.

And does being the "hottest" matter more to you than anything else? What about being "beautiful" person. Being beautiful is more than just being physically attractive, but also having a good heart, a good attitude, smarts and more. I bet if we had a "CBs Most Beautiful" contest, you wouldn't even earn a spot in the top 5. Now that's something to be proud of, right?

I'd much rather be highly intelligent, have an infectious personality, be musically talented, or just be unique in other ways and actually matter. Don't let this silly thing hurt your feelings or affect your confidence. Everything I said wasn't referring to you. In fact, the whole shallow thing wasn't directed towards you at all. It was to the people who were complaining cuz they weren't up there listed as one of the "hottest" and that people weren't really voting for "hot" girls or whatever. I agree. All the drama is getting out of hand. I recognize that I had something to do with some of the "hottest girl in cb" drama but after awhile I just thought to myself "What is the point? Does it really matter?" and I dropped it. I think that we are too quick to judge people, and I myself am guilty of this. Nobody is perfect, so we shouldn't expect people to be. Everybody is entitled to their own opinion but we also need to be respectful and maybe sometimes bite a lip and suck it up to avoid conflict. I'm not saying that everything should be fairytale-perfect here either but if you have a major problem with somebody or an argument is getting out of hand it's greatly appreciated to voice that concern by PMing or IMing.
