I decided to buy an "Epiphone Gothic 1958 Explorer"
it costs about $3,100 in HK....and I have just saved $800....

I play guitar, I've been playing for a year and I don't feel like I've made a whole lot of progress with my teacher. I've got a Yamaha Acoustic, it's kinda spiffy, however, it's a righthanded guitar. Pfft. I think I'm going to quit lessons though and try to teach myself.

I've played guitar for about 2 yrs now. Self taught. I just started by learning chords and reading TABS. I've been writing songs for about a year. I don't really like electric much because of the distortion. I prefer acoustic b/c of the resonance and nice rich sound.

Epiphones suck ass. GET A GIBSON. I SWEAR. Ok well, I've been playing the guitar since I was about...7. So that makes 5 years. And bass for about...4 years.

So glad I'm not one of those mainstream losers who think pUnk RawKK is Good Charlotte and attempts to play the guitar cause it's KeWLL.

not really, the acoustic is a little harder for most people to play, but its easier to learn the notes on.

i have played acoustic since the age of 5 (my dad plays) and i started electric at 10. My acoustic is my grandpa's old one that from like 1890, its refinished of course, i love it and recently i found out its worth $8,000-9,000

I play both Acoustic and Electric. Screaming Infedilities is a pretty easy song to play, just need to tune the guitar right and have a good tuner.

i play electric.. and a bit of acoustic.. but i dont like acoustics cause their all weird and ur arm has to stretch out and all that.

I don't know if you guys have already, but if you check out the program called Guitar Pro 4, and http://www.mysongbook.com, you'll be able to download tabs of the songs straight into that program and it shows you the notes on the scale, on the piano, and on a fretboard of your choice...It's really awesome. And yea, Screaming Infidelities is pretty easy to play...I just love the sound
